Chin Professionals Network
Chin Innovation and Invention Society connects and unites thousands of Ethnic Chin professionals worldwide in various sectors and disciplines, such as engineering, information technology, education, financial services, economics, and healthcare. CIIS hopes to create a culture of innovation and invention in Chin Society; it encourages Ethnic Chin Professionals to utilize what they’ve learned for the sustainable development of Ethnic Chin People. It also aims to promote innovative invention education to provide practical and sustainable solutions to the current humanitarian and political crisis in Chin Land.
Sustainable Renewable Energy Project
The CIIS Program director initiated the Solar Energy Project with a volunteer of thirty Chin engineers and technical professionals worldwide with several years of professional and international experience to provide humanitarian assistance along the Chin-India border in 2022. The project provided electricity for mobile clinics and emergency medical facilities, enabling emergency medical health care for refugees, internally displaced persons, and democratic defenders. CIIS collaborated with local civil service leaders, democratic defenders, and participants in civil disobedience movements. We are currently working on other renewable energy projects.
Connectivity Project
CIIS had figured out ways to bring the digital revolution to displaced people and the humanitarians serving them at the border of Chin State, Myanmar, and India. Making the Connectivity available, affordable, and usable has been a challenge. Internet connection is a powerful tool for protection, education, livelihoods, and health. Connectivity can also make operations more efficient, cost-effective, and successful. By installing wifi internet hotspots and providing internet-enabled devices, they can access vital services, connect with family, and receive information about their rights and available resources. We offered those wifi internet services for mobile clinics and emergency health centers from 2022.
The Young Chin Leaders Initiative Program
​The Young Chin Leaders Initiative Program builds the leadership capabilities of young professionals and promotes cross-border cooperation to solve regional and global challenges. Through various programs and engagements, including international educational and cultural exchanges and regional exchanges, We seek to build leadership capabilities and capacities of the Chin Youth Leaders. Through various programs and engagements, including international internships, cultural exchanges, and regional exchanges, We seek to develop the leadership capabilities and capacities of the Chin Youth Leaders.
